acrylic rods question....

i have a question here - acrylic rods that we are using are Cast Acrylic or Extruded Acrylic rods???... why is one better than the other??! regards and thank you for answering....

extruded is like satan's poop.

I made a couple stems from it and they are the worst, it melts into strings, gums up everything, and then your stems crack.
