In a post studying smoke, I managed to break the stem in half on one of my favorite pipes. It is a churchwarden stem with a metal filter attached. anyone willing to give me a quote on a replacement? It was a dirt cheap pipe (30$) but it smokes so well I don't want to have it out of commission, and I have no ability to turn myself a replacement.

And I'll suggest George Dibos http://PrecisionPipeRepair.com alias Latakialover from right here on the Forum. Read his posts and I think you'll see why I would recommend him.
