Rhodesian vs Bull Dog

I've been working through the nuances of shape and hit the wall with the Rhodesian and Bull Dog. GL Pease had a great article here but I would love your comments as well.

What do you "see" when you spot a Rhodesian? Same for the Bull Dog

I agree with Greg on all accounts. I typically use "bulldog" to refer to pipes with diamond shanks, or shanks that are vaguely diamond, and rhodesian to refer to roundish shanks.

I've never used bullcap or bullmoose as a pipe name.

As I remember, a bullcap or bullmoose generally has a more jutting chin, but may not have anything in common with a bulldog.

Rhodesian - round. Bulldog - not round

I've even heard some pipe freak out there is making some junky thing he calls a Radisian. Dude is a loon!
