I'm really happy with the grain, not so happy with the shaping of the stub stummel. VERY hard to shape that stub with the bamboo in place... :filth-n-foul:

Overall fit and finish is not my finest, especially as the bamboo seems to have shrunk a bit over the last month since it was finished, leaving little gaps between the 'boo and the cumberland. And yeah, there's a little stain in the chamber that won't come out without major surgery. :banghead:

Speaking of cumberland, this was some from PME. I had a very hard time getting it to shine at all, much harder to do than black ebonite. Is that unusual, or is it just me?

Thanks for looking, I figured I'd best post a pipe or two so y'all know I DO try to make them from time to time...
