new pipe

Post by John_V »

just finished my second pipe today. I used a dremel to rusticate. A fellow crafter told me that I could use veg. oil for the stain. I like the look it gives but lacks a shine. what can be done to polish it up a bit ?

Not bad, the only problem I see is that the stem seems like its angled downward from the shank. It could be the angle of the picture but it looks a little off. Other than that it looks great like the shape of the bowl. Maybe next time take a couple more pics at different angles so we can get a better idea of the overall pipe.
