I really like the rusticated/blasted one a lot. It looks like you could perhaps thin your stems out a good bit as they approach the button though. Good work Greg.

Very unique, I like them. I do agree with todd that the end of the stem looks a little thick.

I like the rusticated one best. I think it is because of the longer shank. Visually it just seems a bit more balanced. Very nice looking pipe and certainly an idea worth developing.

I wanted to thank everyone for thier honest opinions! I am headed to the Columbus show where I have a table in August and my pipes will be that much better!

Hey Dave!
Good to hear from you. Ofcourse I remember you, I think you were the 3rd pipe I ever sold! I actually afix the box wood extension right to the wood and after it is dried start the drilling and shaping. I do flush both peices of wood with a forstner bit first. Seems Like I've come a long way in 18 months but have a long road ahead.
I'm not retired yet........Dec. 31st is my last day. Headed to Tucson.
Hopefully you still have all of your fingers and toes after the Persian excursion.
