I had some naturally color cured leaves, nice and brown! Are they ready to cure otherwise? or can they be smoked or should I just compost them?

It sounds like they've already been cured. What do you mean "compost them"?

I'd let the leaves age for a while, then re-hydrate them. They should be ready for preparation to smoke then (topping, casing, steaming, etc.).

Once color cured, they are ready for real curing. You could smoke it now, but it's not very pleasant... too much ammonia and stuff that gives it a "green" taste. There are many ways to cure it. "My research indicates" that a curing chamber or kiln is easiest way = 130 degs, 70% rh, with some ventilation for 4-8 weeks, or until the harsh smell is replaced with the sweet scent of tobacco.
