Hey gang,
I have completed my second pipe, which is also the first pipe I have done everything on from drilling to finish.
Here are some photos from the inital stages to a completed and smoked pipe:

Thanks to John (ArtGuy), Tyler, and Kirk for helping me get started (and all the members who contribute to the forums).
Feedback of any sort is welcome.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragment, guys.
JMB, you're right, for some reason I felt like going for a square shank, don't know if I have a much better explination than that.
Good luck on your "first" pipe. At some points I found myself running in from the garage and checking information on this site before returning to work.

This really is a great looking first pipe!
Don't know if your up for suggestions but this would be the only one I would make (if you were up for them )
in the general area of the large circle, and specificaly the area of the small circle. You break down the wood well right at the shank/stummel transition, but right before that (small circle) there's a bulge that sticks out to me every time I see it. I reference it only because it sticks out to me.
