it's alive!

i'm very excited to report that the burley, virginia gold and connecticut shade leaf are all sprouting. i also have some havana and mopan maya planted, thanks to pierre de kat. can't wait to see how it smokes a long time from now!

Glad to hear it, Andrew.

And ditto what davy51 said about the tobacco worms. You'll find yourself going out on bug patrol on a daily basis, once you see what one of these things can do in a single day.

The good thing is that you can control them easily by simply pulling them off when you find one and disposing of it however you see fit. :takethat:

Is there a way to respond to that photo in a masculine manner? :eek: Looks like it's back to Big 5 for some more ammo for the .22 LR.

Well, there's always the trick we used to use on the new kids when it came time to sucker the plants or while out hoeing: "You gotta bite their heads off to kill 'em. You're the new one, so that's your job." :twisted:

Quite a few would actually do it! Once, anyway... :lol:
