I am a father once again

Just had to share something with you all that is non pipe related but a big thing in our lives..

Tuesday morning at around 08:30 Sara My girlfriend delivered a beautiful and healthy little girl to our world ..

The process itself went as smooth as possible We drove in to the hospital at 12:30 in the night and 8 hours later it was all over...most due to Sara ofcource and a very good midwife..

Now any one who has held a newly born baby in their hands knows how precious it is...something so fresh and unformed by this world of ours, gazing upon you with hazy eyes...it seems suddenly that all other matters fade in importance

Now as you might understand I will probably be distracted from pipe making for a while...

I have spent the last month heavily rearranging and improving our workshop and am about half way through the process, the results are promising and the new workshop will be a lot more functional high tech and aesthetically much more pleasing witch is a must as me and Sara spend most of our time in there

As a proud father of two girls myself (ages 7 and 9), I know exactly what you mean.

And I know what you're going to be going through in about 7 years.
