An Olive Egg

Post by JSPipes »

I had this block of olivewood in the garage...er...shop. It's been there about 2 years and I figured it was dry enough to work. I have some more, but it's still far too wet to use.

Anyway, here it is. The stem is some sort of vulcanite or ebonite. It was a piece of rod that I had started on quite some time ago and just finished off as it was a good fit for this pipe.

I wanted a real tight shank to bowl junction. Hope you like.

Man that's a nice one! I really dig the look of olive wood pipes.
