New Pics

Post by BDP »

Hey All,

It's been quite a while since I've been on here. I saw LexKY's pipe on ebay(Good job!) , and it brought this forum to mind, so I thought I'd come poke around. I've posted some new pipes in my folder over in the gallery, including a volcano I just made that I'm particularly excited about. Hope all is well with all of you. :thumb:

Best,

Heya Brad. How much are you asking for Tom Thumb? Is it a smaller pipe?

Hi Nick,

That pipe is really small, but has plenty of wood around the bowl chamber, which is 11/16ths. It was not as tall as the Rattray's cans. It is now at home in Germany with Roger Wagner, pipemaker of Blue Lobster pipes.

Rad,

I wish someone would clarify that! His Email says Wagner, his pipes are Wallenstein, so-on-and-so-forth. Do you have the definitive answer to that? Any which way, he sure is a FUN guy, and his pipes are as crazy as he is!

Hi Brad,

The definitive answer is Wallenstein. He introduced himself to me at the 2005 Chicago show and bought one of my pipes.

And I saw him again at this year's show, where he very drunkenly accused me of having carnal knowledge of chickens.

Definitely Wallenstein. :D

BTW, I deny the accusation.

I heard on ASP that Rad dances with drunken chickens. How much more of a stretch would the chicken fornication be?

Hi Scott,

Right now the one and only hang-up is ME! I am so busy making pipes that I don't stop to write the welcome page to the site. I'm an idiot (but don't tell anybody). I'll be getting it fired up very soon, as it is the right time to do it now...

How's things with you? It appears that you are determined to be a starving pipemaker as well.. as Eltang says- "It is good to be a pipemaker."

Yes, it's even good to be a wannabe pipemaker! Well, it's true... I've been bitten badly all right. I'm hoping to avoid the starvation part, but only because I still have some family obligations (poor things are looking to me for support still--you'd think they would have learned by now). The current plan is to work away at my skills, perhaps working it into part time at some point, and than hopefully retire a little early and really go after it. Only time will tell, but that's the dream.

Looking forward to your new website, but glad to hear you're too busy making pipes. Darn computers are a mixed blessing at best... BTW, The pipe you named "The Colonel" is my all time favorite Bulldog, and maybe my all time favorite pipe.
