I have an olive wood pipe. I have only smoked it a few times, as a buddy was smoking it one night at my house and accidentally broke the stem. I haven't yet taken the time to fit another one.

The smoking characteristics of the pipe were very nice. I noticed no imparted flavor, but I don't smoke often enough to have a very refined palette. The only thing I noticed that was different was the outside of the bowl was hotter than briar typically is.

Overall, I was quite impressed. Olivewood was a nice material.
