Rad,

This pipe is wonderful. I like the ring grain and the way you made the sandblast with the unfinished top of the stummel.
That's a great job and you're becoming a great blaster !
I am very pleased with your work : your shapes and finitions :)

Best

Saying "Pretty nice ringrain" is like saying a Ferarri is "pretty fast". Thats as nice as I've seen Rad!

Wow, I'll say you hit some pretty nice grain, beautiful! I love the shape and color too! The stain color match with your stem is fantastic! Man, I really like this one Rad!

Ok, I've just got to get a blasting rig, but it will have wait till right after the lathe I've got to get!

Thanks Guys!!

David: Are you the guy who defended me on the French Google Group when one of them said I was using heavy varnish to finish my pipes?

If so, Thank you! :D

Hi Rad,

Yes, that's me :)
As I appreciate your work very much, I couldn't let people tell wrong informations about your pipes

Hi David,

Erwin Van Hove told me a couple of weeks ago that my pipes were being discussed on the French Google group and that one of the members had said that I used varnish as a finish.

He said that a friend of his from Saint-Claude had set them straight, so when I saw here that you are from Saint-Claude, I guessed it might be you! :)

Thanks again for doing that, and also for the kind words about my pipes!

Very nice Rad! I had high hopes for a magnum egg that I blasted over the weekend, but it didn't turn out at well. Only one side had the level of detail that I wanted. It was still nice enough to leave unstained though.
