My first attempt and hello.

Post by lhaddix »

Hi,
Not nearly as wonderful as the others I've seen here
but I've made my first pipe and I had a blast.

This forum is fantastic. It's hard to believe how little
pipe making info there is on the web.

Can't wait to try again.

Hey Landrum,

Welcome!

That is a fine looking pipe for your first shot. Not bad at all. I really like the chamber on that pipe, nice straight edges...very nice looking. Keep it up, can't wait to see your number 2!

Once again welcome to the forum.

Folks,
Thanks for the kind replies. Forgive me I want
to post a final photo after waxing.
I got the color balance right to show the color
more accurately. I decided not to stain.

I'm off on another attempt, I've got four blocks
and don't really like any of them. Go figure.
I need to wash the dust out of my hair and regroup.
