Hi all,

If it does come out I'll post a few more veiws.
That would be my son, young Gabriel....the picture was a first grade present for me, he keeps a eye on all operations at "Gabrieli Pipes".

Dan,

Very nice looking pipe. I like the shape and the long stem, very cool.

Fine lookin' boy you got there too. My little guys is 3 and he is constantly coming up to me with this or that hanging out of his mouth, telling me "Dad, look...this is my pipe.". They're great aren't they.

I like the pipe, and I like the stem work. If I'd picture making something like that myself the only thing I'd change would be the angle of the shank/stem. And it would be less, btw.

Also the blast is a little weak for my taste.

Having said that, I really do like the shape and it looks well executed (I'd like to see the the chin of the pipe tho). Nice pipe all in all, IMHO.

Now for how I did the image:
I put that line of text inside the "IMG" tags.

Ben,
Thanks. The degree of the shank, I guess is a personal thing, but point taken. The blast, yes it is light, I wanted it that way....I didn't want to loose any of the shape....chin? the front. I call the shank/bowl union, the neck, so I figure the chin is th front. no?

Hey Dan,

The location that you are putting between the img tags is a path to a file on your local machine. You need to put a url or internet location of a file between those tags.

If you wanted to place in your post a picture of a pipe in the gallery, this is how you would do it. Go to the gallery and pull up the picture. When you are viewing it, put your mouse cursor on the picture and right click. In the drop down menu choose Properties. When the properties are displayed highlight the Address (URL). Then either hit Edit from the menu at the top of your browser and choose Cut or hit ctrl-c to copy this address. Now go back into your post and paste this address in between the img tags by going to Edit and choosing Paste or hit ctrl-v. That should put the picture in your post.

Hope that makes sense and helps.[/img]

Nice pipe Dan! The blast does look a bit shallow, but it has a good bit of detail. Very nice indeed!
