Taig Modifications

For those of you who use the taig lathe.... what modifications have you done that have proved helpfull?

I haven't done any modifications, but you should be able to read about and see pictures of various modifications on Nick Carter's taig lathe page. I forget the exact URL, but a google search on Nick Carter usually brings up his site. There are a few power users of these things, but most of these guys are doing metal work, so they may or may not fit for pipes.
