Wow that’s amazing they showed up. Maybe my new phone is smarter than I thought it was. Now to work on the strange angles of the photos, lighting , clarity.

Kent, that's a lovely pipe. Two things strike me that I guess I would call improveable for next time: 1st, the shank, is it a curve or isn't it? You have a bit of a flare on the stem and it's actually enough to confuse or detract from the curve on the bottom of the shank, so the effect of the very subtle curve is nullified, in some pictures it looks like parts of the shank are dead straight, but it isn't really the case, so a slightly more accenuated curve to oppose that flare would give that shank more flow. Second, the front of the bowl in the very last pic shows a bit of flattening, I realize that the sort of "heart shape" bowl is tough to bring up gracefully without it becoming applish, but this one looks a little off on just that bottom picture.
I guess I'd like to see more grain too - finish is really even but it's just red at this point - it's subtle, and on a certain type of pipe it would be appropriate, but I'm left here thinking "Well I can't wait till after it's polished."
But that's a hell of a nice pipe, and 15 years ago would have been hailed as a really good effort, where the bar is so high now that it's like, even really nice pipes are greeted with "ah, seen it before".
