RC stem

Post by Doug535 »

Working on a RC cherrywood, should I scrap the stem or can it be saved? It just doesn't look quite right and not sure where to go with it. George? Any tips?
I'm ok with the top view, but the profile just doesn't cut it.

It looks like you just need to take more material off near the saddle.

Thanks Jeremiah, that is what I thought, I'll make another stem tonight. It's so much easier making stems for this type of pipe and not have to file/sand the shank with them.
