Couldn't make it to Chicago, and I can't make it to this one either, unfortunately.
But I did find this:

That was a BIG deal on the news earlier this week. Apparently the people in charge don't know how to take a joke because I thought it was hilarious!

I actually think it's photoshopped, even. But yeah I saw that and have been literally waiting for this thread to pop up.

I'm horrible at taking pictures, but it was a great show.

The winners of the North American Carvers Contest were:

Jesse Jones
Walt Hettinger
Brandon Brooks
Scottie Piersel
Abe Herbaugh
Micah Cryder
Jeremiah Sandahl

The 7 Day set of Princes was won by Micah Zeff

A big thanks to everyone who made it to the show and those of you that supported the Carvers Contest by purchasing raffle tickets!

I am surprised by the 100% blast showing, I worked hard on 2 smooths for which I had high hopes, but in the end submitted a third pipe which I blasted on the last possible day, (which turned out to be a propitious decision.:) )
Congratulations to all of the winners.

It just kind worked out that way. We usually don't get too many smooths that are entered in the contest every year. I had a smooth that I didn't enter as I thought the blast was a touch better.
