Well in typical pipe maker fashion, waiting till the last minute to book a hotel was a really bad idea (suits me right for thinking a month out was plenty of time). Something much more notable than a pipe show must be going on, because hotel prices for that weekend are through the roof, even for the dumpy hotels.
Anyway, if anyone wants to play "how many pipe makers can we fit in one room" let me know.
