My daughters were grown and moved out by the time I started making pipes, but I used to have them "help" me with projects. It doesn't take much for kids to realize that things don't happen by magic, and that swearing is an important part of any project. Once one of the girls wanted to go walk around the neighborhood to find old car parts so we could make a Christmas tree stand.
