Very cool pipe Nate. I enjoyed getting the sneak peak of it Friday on the chat. It made seeing it completed even more fun. I imagine the hard part of this was making every edge so precise as a gear has to be more or less perfect to work well. Your symmetry is great! The finish and color are very nice and all the fittings and fixtures really make it.

I would love to see this in person. I guess I'll have to wait til it hits the museum to do that

Yeah, it's on the, ahem...heavy side at 3.9 ounces (111g). But the balance is good and works well as a chinrester.

Nate, this pipe is truly fabulous!

Such a fluent shape, nice sharp edges, a matching stem and boy do I like the brass (I think they're brass?) additions which complete the steampunkness!

It's just that my budget is non-existing, or I'd give whatever you asked to have one!

Would you mind if I shared it on the Belgian/Dutch pipesmokers forums? We love seeing creative work like this!
