The person you send a pipe to is supposed to critique your work.
You critique someone else's.
Then send it back in about a week?

Sounds fun.

Actually, this is a permanent thing. You keep whatever pipe is sent to you, and whoever gets your pipe keeps it - and hopefully puts it into regular rotation.

The idea is to push yourself both creatively and in terms of craftsmanship. Take your work to the next level, or even the level beyond that, then give it away. Because you're going to be sending your pipe to a fellow pipe maker, you want to be sure that your work is the best it can possibly be given your skills and knowledge.

Critique is great, and is encouraged. Everyone wants to learn during this, and what better way than send your pipe to another pipe maker?

I just got in my blocks I picked out while in Phoenix and some lucite rod so I'm ready to get to work on pipes, one for the PITH!

Just the thing to get me back in to this form.

Man, I'm bummed I missed this. Last year's was so much fun! ScoJo's blowfish is just awesome.

You can already count myself in for next year. I was really tempted to join this year but didnt think my skills were quite up to the task. It sounds like great fun though.

I’m guessing that it’s too late to get in on this? If not than I’d like to join in. I really like things like this and if nothing els I look forward to seeing what every one comes up with.
