Two must-watch short films

Post by LatakiaLover »

The first one is 5 minutes 40 seconds long, and answers the "why do people smoke?" question the best I've ever seen it done. (Meaning cigars and pipes, of course, not cigarettes)

This one is 10 minutes long, and focuses on one guy who who makes artisan knives. NOT the ornamental, put-em-in-a-case collector's kind, but chef's knives that are meant to be used daily. He's definitely one of us. A fierce perfectionist who knows all about the "making yourself into a brand" thing, etc. etc.

Very nice. I can especially relate to the "quality of life" that comes from being your own boss. One day, I want to make pipes full time, but not because I want to make a good living (because I know I won't) but because it will be a good opportunity to be my own boss and make stuff with my hands.

Thanks for sharing the videos, George.
