A pipe for dad

Post by Lundell »

My father turned 70 last Wednesday. He's not a pipe smoker, or a smoker of any kind for that matter, but he's been fascinated and supportive of my pipemaking since I started out a year ago, so I still think it'd be nice o make one for him. I also thought it would be nice to create something I sort of made up myself, rather than trying to make a classic shape. I don't know what to call it, it's sort of a mix between a volcano and an eskimo/ukulele. I know that usually makes it harder to critique, but still, I'd like to know what you think and if you see something specific I could've done better. Thanks for you time!

Cool Eskicano! Or Volamo. Or Ukecano. Or Volelele. Or.....ok, I'm done :D

Sweet pipe though, for reals.

It's as if you made a billiard of wax and set it on a hot surface. A sort of "melting billiard", if you will. I like it!

It's a nice shape. I'd be happy to get one as a gift when I turn 70. And I'd even smoke it. :-)

Of course he liked it... It's from his son, and is a nice looking pipe to boot ;-)

Very nice Valeskuklele! I would be honored to receive this from one of my sons. Speaking of that my birthday is coming up if you want to adopt me and send me one lol.

Thanks! But I'm afraid I'll have to turn down your offer, I've got my hands full with the two parents I've got already! :D
