bamboo
Re: bamboo
Long time lurker, 1st post.
I picked mine up on ebay from samantha0296. The Chinese sellers are expensive. samantha0296 has it for sale or make an offer. I made an offer of $15 and it was accepted, 10 pieces, $15 + $15 shipping I did not think was too bad. Its not here yet so I cant say if what she has is any good but will know soon enough.

"but rev, isn't smoking a sin?"
well I suppose if one were to smoke to excess it would be a sin
"but what would be smoking to excess?"
Why smoking two pipes at once of course

Went to your website to check it out, isn't that River Cane ? They are both in the same family.

Re: bamboo
Looks like it to me, but I was asking because I don't really know. River cane is what they used for the old school reed stem pipes, the trade clays and cobs etc.
It is in the same family with Bamboo but native to the US (maybe other places too?). Then again what you have could easily be some bamboo I'm just not familiar with.

If it wasn't grown in the US, it's not river cane.
