Today I was given something I find very cool by Petter, an old friend of my father. The father of Petter was an avid pipesmoker his entire life (he passed away a few years ago). He left behind alot of pipes and piperelated stuff when he passed, and since Petter himself doesn't smoke or care about that stuff, he gave some of it to me because he learned that I make pipes.
What he gave me you can see in the pictures. It is two pipe repair boxes full of stems and screw-in tenons to fit the stems. All the little orange jars in the box on the first pic contains different size tenons ranging from 6 to 9,5 mm in increments of 0,1 mm. It is clear that these boxes are made for tobacco-stores that repaired pipes, but other than that I don't know anything about them. And I don't know what, or if, I'm going to use it for anything, since I don't use pre-molds anymore. Anyway I think this stuff is way cool, and it seems pretty old.
