I haven't posted one for critique in a long while so here's one to hopefully appease the pipe goddesses. Proportionally speaking, this is the best billiard I have made to date. The stem to stummel lengths and the bowl height to shank lengths are within a few hundreths of each other. Feel free to critique.
No, this was the prototype/first attempt. The stem has a very tiny sand speck. I decided to start over and do a ring grain blast instead of this cross grain since I had to remake a stem anyway. I still couldn't catch a break with my entry. It had a sand speck on the stem also and wasn't as nicely shaped or proportioned as this one although the blast was better. The stem shank line on my entry was a bit wonky. I didn't expect it to win but it's what I was able to finish which is better than nothing at all I suppose.
