Two new pipes

Post by marks »

I finished the two pipes I was recently working on. They are numbers 1505 and 1605. I am still figuring out how to take good pictures of pipes, so please forgive me if some of the details are not crystal clear.

On 1605 I tried something different in the rustication. Since I could not get my nail tool on the shank and the front panel of the pipe, I did the rustication of these two parts entirely with a 1/4 inch wood working chisel. I like the way it looks, and I may try to rusticate an entire pipe with just a chisel at some point in the future.

You can see them at the link in my signature. Thanks for looking.

Thank you. I really enjoyed making that pipe, and in a way, I am going to hate selling it.
