This weekend I will be starting the process of moving the forum to a new hosting provider "in the cloud". The benefits are many, and I won't bore you non-IT types with the details, but I do not expect any downtime.
That said, NEXT weekend (after Thanksgiving) there will be some downtime while the database is migrated. I hope this wont be too long, but that depends on DNS propogation. I'll try to mitigate this by setting the TTL to 15 minutes.

Moving hosting to a new provider
Re: Moving hosting to a new provider
Should be great Kurt. Hopefully, it will lessen your time and effort as well. Thanks again.

It's like I always say: just be sure the SSL is interfacing correctly with the API so the PHP doesn't decode the SQL while the URL & USB are "doing their thing" to the GUI.KurtHuhn wrote: I won't bore you non-IT types with the details
Oh yeah, and please make sure this is Y2K compliant.

You left out the BGA connector for the Southbridge, and to ensure all the appropriate VLANs are tagged (or trunked as needed). Also, I might have to supernet the entire assembly, just to ensure everything hits the router first...
