dust collection

Post by andrew »

So I finally got a real dust collector... my wife will be pleased once its installed. I assembled it last night. Not sure how loud it is, but it will be in the garage and I will be in the basement (gonna pipe the air down there). I also got the 3 micron filter too.

Andrew, I know mine is pretty loud. Although I don't know which one you got, I'd say any of them doing a good job will cause quite a bit more noise than you want in the same area with you. That's why I installed mine in a seperate area from my shop.

Good luck with the install and I know your wife as well as you will be glad you bought it.
