9X19 Grizzly G4000

I picked up this little guy up today it seems like it will be just big enough to do what I want it to do

Look about the same size as my lathe so should be fine for blocks and stems.

I need to make or buy some different type of jaw to grab a block

It's the grizzly equivelant of the 920 Jet. I have a scrolling wood chuck I bought fro grizzly with jaws of my own making and they do just fine.

Good luck with your new lathe. I love mine. And there are plenty of upgrades can be done to make them better.

could you give me some more info on what chuck you have dawg, and perhaps the jaws you made? I would appreciate it
