I made this for my dad. He literally paused the movie and said, "I want that one." So naturally I had to attempt it. Tell me what you guys think.

I'm thinking back to the movie, and I'd say you have a bit too much sag on the bottom of the bowl. It needs to be tightened up in general- however, I also saw that pipe and was like "nais".

I have heard that it is a "Butz Choquin Lde Churchwarden -1116 Bent Red Briar Pipe," but I am not sure.




I know the ring is not quite white, but I had no Ivory... Or white acrylic... so I used a Home Depot Stirrer...

It looks almost like the shank bulges a bit, but it might just be the photos.

I also think that the bowl is too conical and the bottom of the bowl is pointier than the original and that the walls of the bowl are too thin, but this is probably obvious if you compare them as well. Otherwise I think you did a rather good job!
