What is the official deadline? First page says 2/3/13 and somewhere else says 2/4/13. It is gonna be tough for me to get it done (shop is at my parents house 45 minutes away from my apartment and I have a real job during the week), but I shall do my best!
The way to make people want to smoke your pipes is to develop a reputation for excellence in your work. This takes a lot of hard work and several years to accomplish, and there are no short cuts. You just have to keep at it. - Rad Davis

Ok, so as far as a hard deadline, I'm going to make an executive decision here and say that if you intend to get in on the trade we need either pics or an "I'm done" by Monday Feb. 4th. We'll determine who ships what to whom that week so we can get the pipes out later that week or the following week.

Any objections?

No joke! I vote you finish it up. Whatever it turns out to be, it's part of this learning experience that we're all participating in. I know I'm learning a hell of a lot!

Oh it's sizeable. ;)

I'll take measurements as soon as I get a chance and post them here.

I can't find mine, I was going to give it some serious time yesterday and I literally could not find it. I hope I find it today or I will have to switch to the second one, but that one is mostly drilled and ready to carve.

Like that one uber, so far things are looking good

Possibly the best briar aging method out there. Simply lose the pipe and find it when you move in ten years!

Well, perhaps it isn't as big as I thought. It certainly is the longest pipe I've made.

I'm assuming with length you mean the height as it stands on the table? In that case: it's still pretty darn sizeable. About twice the one I'm making I think!

You are correct, sir.

Twice!? That's gonna be a tiny cavalier. I'm excited to see it!
