Nordic Track 120" Belt Sander

The speed control on the treadmill was shot, but the more I research the motor the happier I am. Seems to be the perfect project motor for many uses. I also brought home a Montgomery Ward 14" wood lathe today for $50 that does have a speed control. The motor works in the Ward lathe but an upgrade may be in the works... The lathe needs some cleaning up and TLC but is functional and came with a small set of chisels. It came with a stand as well and even though the whole setup is nothing to write home about I am sure I could get my many back when I outgrow it.
