Saucer vs. Bullcap?

Saucer vs. Bullcap?

Dear pipemakers,
I have seen that in the American usage the shape "Saucer" seems. To me it was not known in the European space.
Is this a independent Shape or a synonym for "Bullcap"? If it is an independent shape by which it differed from a "Bullcap"?
