Hi all!
My little workshop is located at my parents place some 300 km from me, so during the winter I have to make other stuff more suitable for making in an apartment. Here are two pares of rabbit mittens I made from rabbit skin that I tawed. Both are hand sewed so the stitches are a bit irregular;)
First pare was made with inspiration from an old pair of mittens that my sister got from our grandma.
Second pare I made for my mother in law. They are fur-out with fleece lining inside.
Gives a warm feeling now that winter is approaching!=)
Best regards
Rabbit skin mittens
Re: Rabbit skin mittens
Those look great, I'd love some slippers like that!
Re: Rabbit skin mittens
Yeah
The fur is super soft and warm but I think the skin itself is to thin and fragile for a pair of slippers..maybe if the sole was made of something more wear resistant!
