My only complaint about the show was that Bruce was there. Otherwise, it was quite wonderful.

Todd didn't have time to do any tools.
What was new this year? Hmmmm! I would say it appeared there were a bunch of old farts that were sporting new pounds and new wrinkles.

This young man, Trey Rice, "Ricebiscuit" in the forum, showed up Sunday-morning, dropped six pipes on the blank part of my table and was sold out after 20 minutes:

Trey is a great young man and had some nice work to show! Was glad to meet him and talk for a bit. Looking forward to seeing what else he makes!!

As for me, it was a great trip! And it was great meeting you guys - what shall I say, it enriched my life. Thanks for all the compliments and hearty words concerning my work but as I said, best were the personal encounters!

Besides that, sales were good and with the orders coming in now (after the show, which seems kinda funny to me but - well... ) from dealers I have met at the show I will be sold out, so I can call this first show a complete success also on bussines terms.

I'm happy and as Bruce said: It was fun!
