Film at eleven? come on Bruce, you tease! what was new this year? for the poor guys that didnt get to go. like me. More importantly, what kind of pipe supertools was Todd Johnson showing off at the show? I had heard talk of custom tools on this forum.

My only complaint about the show was that Bruce was there. Otherwise, it was quite wonderful.

Todd didn't have time to do any tools.
What was new this year? Hmmmm! I would say it appeared there were a bunch of old farts that were sporting new pounds and new wrinkles.

Did AAP premiere their cumberland? Was it awesome? It was awesome, wasn't it? I tried to order some but they said it was all going to the show. I'll have to wait.

Yes. Mark was there with us (The Briar Studio) and had much to offer.

Texan record- breaker!

Comrades and fellow old farts!

This young man, Trey Rice, "Ricebiscuit" in the forum, showed up Sunday-morning, dropped six pipes on the blank part of my table and was sold out after 20 minutes:

This is what you call "performance", eh?

Yeah, he sure is - what a rookie! 'Veni, vidi, vici ' as they say!

As for me, it was a great trip! And it was great meeting you guys - what shall I say, it enriched my life. Thanks for all the compliments and hearty words concerning my work but as I said, best were the personal encounters!

Besides that, sales were good and with the orders coming in now (after the show, which seems kinda funny to me but - well... ) from dealers I have met at the show I will be sold out, so I can call this first show a complete success also on bussines terms.

I'm happy and as Bruce said: It was fun!

Best,

Steffen

It was a great show both for business and pleasure. Despite what others have said I enjoyed seeing you Bruce :D
