Replacement Wecheer parts

Post by KurtHuhn »

Just a heads-up for those of you that own a Wecheer brand rotary "Dremel-alike". If you ever pull a bone-headed move and break the little sprial-wound inner shaft of the flexible shaft for the handpiece, there seems to be exactly one e-tailer in the world that carries replacements:

It's easy to replace, and seemingly easy to break. All I did was one slipup and my structured carbide cutter got caught in my sweatshirt, which over-torqued the shaft and snapped it right near the power unit. This is the very first failure I've had with this machine - which has actually replaced my Dremel as my full-time rotary tool.

If you ever get really stuck the drive cable for a motorbike speedo works, just find the one closest in length and trim it. Try explaining that in the local chopper shop.
