Hi guys,
here are some of the pipes I have made recently.
A churchwarden I have made for a friend, who is a member of a medieval acting group. Those groups are quite common here.

A small rusticated pipe. I am not so happy with the stem and will probably change it one day.

And the last one, another rusticated pipe. Unfortunately the wood was in a bad quality and the stain and paraffin-oil has gone through the wood, into the tobacco chamber. Now I am not sure if it could harm my healthy, if I smoke it. But at least I am satisfied with the design. Except the stem is too short in my opinion. It's because I ran out of material.

On the last picture you see the stain in the tobacco chamber.
Greetings,
Dirk.

Re: Some of my pipes
Dirk, some nice looking work there. I like the short stem myself..........Not sure of the health issues, as I don't know what paraffin Oil is.

Dirk,
I really like your pipes.
How did you manage to drill out the long wooden stem on the Churchwarden?
I can only guess that you drilled it straight and then soaked the wood in water and bent it on a fixture. What kind of wood is the stem?
Nice work.

Thank you for your comment.
You are right,
first drilling, then steaming and bending. I have used beech. Because of it's short fibres, it is good for bending.
