WTB: 3" piece of 1" diameter rod

I need a short length of either Vulcanite or Lucite rod that that is 1" (at least) in diameter.

I recently came across a giant that needs a stem replacement....... cant find anything that big around. HELP!

Contact Jim Boswell (pipemaker PA)... he makes these freakishly big pipes he calls Grizzleys. The stems are all hand cut from lucite stock and are sometimes 1.75" wide! He might be able to hook you up with a piece of what you need.

As has been previously mentioned in other posts, a good supplier of cast acrylic rod is: http://www.delviesplastics.com/. They've got up to 3" diameter rod in a host of colors. Only restriction is that they price it by the 48" length. A 1" machine-grade piece will run you $23.50 + s/h. Hope that helps.
