finger sanders

Post by pipeguy »

Has anybody ever used a finger sander? If so I would love your input. Files and rasps are the time honored method but if the Pilgrims had Sthil chainsaw you can bet your ass they'd use it. thanx Bob Clark.

I've never used one, but since there's no rules to making a pipe, there's no reason not to. If it works for you, then it works period.

That's why I sand my pipes using a mixture of volcanic pumice and petroleum jelly. It takes a while, but MAN does the pipe shine when I'm done.

I should have my first pipe done in about 32 years. i'll be sure to post pics when it's done.
