Love the billiard!! Is that a plain rusticated finish or has it been blasted as well? Very cool!

Italian Briar.

No blasting yet. Just my way of Rustication.
I hope to have a blasting set-up by next summer.

Like both pipes Kirk, but particularly the billiard. Funny, but I am nearing the final stages on a poker that when done will look like a close relative of your billiard. I am leaving the bowl rim, bottom, and shank smooth, will do a natural finish, but the pipe will have no band on the stem.

When I get a digital camera, I'll post a picture on my web page.

Very cool Kirk. I especially like the shank on the first pipe. It's flaired very elegantly. Did you use a lathe for that?

Thanks Nick,
I only have a micro lathe (taig) So the only turning I do is on the stems.
The blocks are all shaped on a sanding disc.
