W.D. Lockwood stain/dye for sale 40 colors FREE SAMPLES

Post by Vermont Freehand »

Hello All,

I have a bunch of denatured alcohol soluble dye/stain from WD Lockwood. It is a powder that you mix with your own denatured alcohol. Colors can be blended to create thousands of different colors. I am selling 1 ounce increments. My pricing will be a certain percentage less than what wdlockwood charges, according to their price list in ounce increments on their website http://www.wdlockwood.com (make sure you are looking at the alcohol soluble price list).

Free samples are available which make 1-2 oz. of stain per packet. You pay me $1 for shipping and you can get one packet of each of these 8 colors;
-moss green
-standard brown walnut
-natural red cherry
-deep red mahogany
-golden brown oak
-dark brown walnut
-violet
-golden lemon yellow

Price by the ounce:
1-5 ounces - 25% off
6-10 ounces - 35% off
11-39 ounces - 45% off
40 ounces or more- 60% off ($133.82 for the whole assortment kit of 40 colors, and thats a s**tload of stain)

MSDS sheets available at their website.

1 ounce of powder in 1 pint = 6.25% solution - highly concentrated
1 ounce of powder in 1 1/2 pint = 4.16% solution
1 ounce of powder in 2 pints = 3.125% solution
1 ounce of powder in 4 pints = 1.56% solution - wash coat

Below are some color samples. They show differrent dillutions, therefore half of each picture looks darker than the other half. All stains can be dilluted to obtain the desired darkness.

Concentrated colors (conc.) will make twice as much as mixture chart, it's twice as strong powder.
