ivarsson pipes

Post by dogwood »

anyone have a lars or nanna ivarsson pipe? they look really cool. it seems like nanna's pipes are hard to comeby. they must be very sought after and collectable. i bet they smoke like a dream.

Any well made handmade pipe can smoke like a dream. The big names aren't really a quantum leap in engineering ahead of us schlubs, but they are light years ahead artistically.

And that, my dear friends, is what pipemaking is about!

I own a few Sixten pipes. They are all awesome. Not only do they smoke great, but I really feel like i'm holding a piece of history.

I have a Lars, have smoked it and a number of others made by him. Like Todd said, they smoke like I expect them to...just like pipes by Jess, Nordh, Bang.
