Holy....
Okay. Tomorrow I'll fire up the grill. You bring the fish, I'll provide the beer. Bring the family.
Are you in RI? What part?

Does it really matter what part? That's like me asking someone if they live in Brentwood and "what part." If it's at the south end am I not going to take the extra four minutes to get there . . . ? You Yankees and your teeny tiny states!KurtHuhn wrote:Are you in RI? What part?

That's only funny because it's true.
I actually grew up in Ohio out in farm country, so driving an hour to get to the shopping center never bothered me. Here an hour in the car takes you clear across the state - the long way - with plenty of time to make a good head start to Boston. But the in-laws, when asked why they never come visit, complain about the ride to my house being so long, and needing snacks for the trip - the whole 16-mile trip....
But, that said, some parts of this state are a genuine pain in the ass to get to from the western border. Anything on the East side of the bay, for instance. Or, heaven forbid, Newport or Middletown. They're practically their own state.

I know just what you mean! I was looking for somthing on Google maps a while back, and I looked at the scale in the corner. So I flicked up a map of Cleveland in another browser, checked the scale and just laughed. Cleveland and its suburbs is essntially the same size at Connecticut.
