Senatorov Sandblast Video :)

Post by Senatorov »

Hello. Has decided to make video "as I do sandblast"
At me 3 parts have turned out, thought to unite but at me it has not turned out. In the first part I show as I do extensive sandblast.

In the second part result extensive sandblast.

Well and in thirds of part I show as I do deep sandblast, the third part probably the most interesting:)

I see now why it takes so long to get that deep, craggy ringblast finish. A small nozzle and hours of patience. Nice work.
Regards,
Frank.

I recognize those glove index finger holes! I eventually started getting heavy duty gardening gloves in extra-large sizes and pulling them on over the sandblasting gloves. They're cheaper, and easy to swap out when the fingers inevitably start wearing through, plus it avoids those finger holes that compromise the vacuum in the chamber.

Uh oh is right. I've already drawn up a plan for one of these, and I think I can machine it out of random bits of steel I have around the workshop along with bits and pieces from the 'bucket of mystery' where all my extra project pieces go.

It really is an elegant design, and I can't thank you enough for posting these videos, Sergei.
