Also, Trever, you can dual-boot OSX and Ubuntu, but if you want to use GRUB (instead of bootcamp or similar), it's a pain to configure the integrated bootloader, since you have to re-format your MBR to MS-DOS format, instead of Apple's. But there are posts online (somewhere). Heck if you do it right, install enlightenment and Compiz, you can almost make ubuntu look as good as OSX (not sure why you'd want to though...).
