Pseudo-coral try

Post by tritrek »

Hi folks,
I've tried to make a coral-like finish this weekend... Like they say: the results may vary... and so they did :D

I've used chisels, the modified #2 Philips screwdriver (presented by someone here a little while ago) and Dremel.
I must say this kind of rustication takes a lot of efforts, sweat and blood... and time, of course.

Please suggest, comment, praise, bring down, etc.. :) Thanks!

I like the surface finish. I'd leave a little band of smooth, unrusticated wood at the shank/stem joint though.
